English Springer Spaniels are definitely a great breed. They are breed of gun dog in the Spaniel family traditionally used for flushing and retrieving game. Whether in the beating line, picking up behind the guns or rough shooting hedgerows, the springer is a fantastic and versatile gundog that can adapt well to a variety of different situations.
Our English Springer Spaniels pick up throughout the season on a large estate shoot with our Hungarian Vizslas here in Kent and also on smaller shoots around the County. We also field trial our springers.
We breed limited litters and will be breeding from our bitch, Marley, in the latter part of 2016 and will be keeping a pup back for trialling.
We only breed from fully health tested parents. The Kennel Club health tests for English Springer Spaniels are listed below. You can click on them for more information. We use The Animal Health Trust for DNA testing.
