What Hannah’s clients say is just that. Thank you for sending us your reviews.
Pat with Duggie:
Myself and my 18 month old chocolate Labrador retriever, Duggie began training with Hannah earlier this year. Previously we had been training locally for nearly a year. I can confidently say that the progress we have both made under Hannah’s watchful eye is bordering on the amazing! I have seen Duggie move from a boisterous, often out of control young dog to a bright, enthusiastic, eager to please young Labrador who adores training sessions that I am proud to take out and about. From a personal point of view her insightfulness into the dog psyche, her endless patience and enthusiasm and infectious sense of humour and her natural affinity to the dogs has given me so much more confidence in my abilities and Duggies abilities too! She has with her seamless guidance and instructions, allowed and assisted us to become a real team, working for each other to achieve our goals….goals I never realised we would be capable of achieving. We both love attending her sessions and cannot wait for the next one….we come away having improved and learnt new skills every time, and always having had a good giggle along the way. She doesn’t over complicate the picture and always ensures we all end the session on an absolutely positive note…and each and every one of us arrives with a grin on our faces and leave with even bigger grins!
I cannot praise her enough and would recommend (and have recommended) her to everyone who wants to train their dog and to do it in a relaxed and constructive environment….I wouldn’t use anyone else!
Pauline and Buster:
My young Labrador, Buster, loved to retrieve anything and everything. We had a couple of one to one classes to try gundog training and Buster proved he had real drive for the sport. I joined a weekly class with Hannah Spearman with the aim of progressing through the ‘pet gundog’ tests, and we are thoroughly enjoying it. Ours is a small friendly group with some very different dogs, all with different characters, ages and learning issues and we have a lot of fun in class. Hannah spends time with each dog and handler finding the best way to develop us and enjoy our sport, all this time we are learning from each other. Hannah has taught us how important it is to get the basics right and we practise these each lesson, making a good foundation for further learning. For Buster, he is learning control and that not every throw of the dummy is for him to fetch, before going on to more complicated retrieves. For me, I end every lesson feeling more confident in handling my dog, rooting for my colleagues and can’t wait for the next week!! As well as an excellent trainer, Hannah is an amazing photographer and we are privileged to have some brilliant photos of our dogs working.
Helen with Poppy:
I can’t recommend Hannah at Rebelritsi gundogs highly enough. I wish that I had found her earlier as after attending a number of quite unsuccessful puppy classes my German shorthaired pointer was still quite a tricky pup and rarely listened to me. Hannah has helped me change the balance in our relationship and I now feel in charge and Empowered by her training. Poppy is now becoming a fantastic pet gun dog who gets a great deal of pleasure retrieving on land and in and over water. We are looking forward to progressing even further through the pet gun dog training and qualification scheme. Thank you Hannah for all of your help I now have a great relationship with my “well behaved” dog and can’t thank you enough.
Julie with Benji:
I went to Hannah with a loving but excitable, strong, wilful, out of control dog about whom I was despairing. After a few weeks I cannot believe the difference. Her patience, encouragement, enthusiasm and good humour has made me look forward to training classes. Always focusing on the positive I cannot recommend her highly enough.
Beth with Bodley:
Thanks Hannah for our lesson yesterday, and for the last few months. Nice & steady progress is our mantra. You always aim to end each ‘task’ on a good note, however long that may take. Your patience and humour is a great help when Boxley’s mind isn’t always on the job. Roll on Monday’s swim retrieve lesson.
